- Anti-Discrimination Policy
The South Barrington Park District offers parks and recreation programs on a non-discriminatory basis, regardless of sex, race, religion, or level of physical or mental ability. If you have any suggestions on how to improve our recreational
programs, or are an individual with disabilities or special needs, please contact the Park District at (847) 381-7515.
|
- Field Trip Waiver Release Agreement
A Waiver, Release, and Hold Harmless Agreement is required for all programs. Please read the form carefully, sign it, and submit it when you register. The use of this form is one of the answers to the national liability insurance crisis, allowing us to continue to offer quality programs to the public at a reasonable cost. We want the registrants in our programs to be aware in advance that when they participate in certain activities there is a natural element of risk of injury which each participant must assume. We do not carry medical or accident insurance for program participants. The cost of that type of insurance would make program fees prohibitive. Please review your own personal health insurance plan to be certain that you and your family have the proper coverage.
|
- Photo Policy
From time to time the Park District may take photographs of participants enrolled in Park District programs, special events, or people on Park District properties and/or parks. These photographs may be used in our catalogs, brochures, presentations, flyers, or web site and are for Park District use only.
|
- Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed on Park District property, unless they are service animals that are assisting an individual.
